Hello! I am Dr. Deepasri Mohan. I did my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) (Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Microbiology) under Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University. I am happy to say that I scored top marks in Microbiology and Pathology, Pharmacology (II -year BDS) and Best student award in II- year BDS.
Did senior internship for a period of six months in the dental wing of Stanley Medical College and Hospital, Chennai.
Have conducted online classes (Oral anatomy, Oral histology and Oral pathology) for MDS aspirants in Triumph Academy.
Have been the speaker of an online webinar about “Oral anatomy and Histology” conducted by Triumph Academy.
Did guest lecture in Priyadarshini Dental college and Hospital on 20th November 2019 on the following topics: a) Oral lesions in Diabetes mellitus b) Prescription review.
I have done poster and paper presentations in National and International dental conferences. During my PG I have done a pilot study about “Chlorhexidine mouthwash and its effect on blood pressure” and made a paper presentation on this.
I have 11 years of dental clinical experience.
Recently my research work “Dental caries and their relation to HbA1c in adults with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus” got published in PubMed index journal- Indian Journal of Public Health.
I have great passion for medical and dental subjects which makes me happy to share my knowledge with others.
